1.  RAINN can help you make a confidential, informed decision about your individual situation. The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation’s largest anti-sexual assault organization.  RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE.


2.  Childhelp — If you suspect or know a child is being abused, sexually or physically, you can call the USA National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-4-A-CHILD.  Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children.


3.  The National Domestic Violence Hotline provides crisis intervention, information and referral to victims of domestic violence, perpetrators, friends, and families.  You can call the hotline at 1-800-799-7233.


4.  All About Counseling provides helpful information on social issues and counseling.  They also have a Directory of Counselors and Therapists.


5.  Mentalhelp.com is a great resource if you think you or someone you know suffers from a mental illness.  With mental illness, there is nothing to be afraid of or feel shameful about. There are many treatments available that can help you or a loved one lead a happy and balanced life.


6.  The Emotional Abuse Quiz - Although this site is selling a book, it’s a good quiz to analyze one’s relationship status.
